1973 K10 : Chloe

1973 K10 offroad build
I drove it daily, she marked her territory, by leaving a 6 inch puddle of 10W40 everywhere I parked for.more than 15 minutes. And, above 6000 rpm, she try her best to kill all the mosquitoes in the vicinity.
Then, one day, driving to work, the transfer case fell off. Which led to a transfer case rebuild with a used input gear, as the original was toast20180520_200311.jpg20180520_200305.jpg20180520_200253.jpg20180520_200243.jpg20180520_200241.jpg20180520_200232.jpg20180520_200222.jpg20180520_200215.jpg20180520_200200.jpg20180520_200152.jpg20180520_200142.jpg20180520_200132.jpg

The D60F, I bought, just as prices on these started going apeshit. I got it $1000.
Keith Blazer (@kgblazerfive) sold me the newer model 14 bolt for $100.
14 bolt has 4:10
D60F has 3:54
I'll be changing those to 5:38's

These are the only pics I got of this parts of the build. I swapped in the tons, another set 52 " springs for the front, B52 shackle flip, dropped the saddle tanks.
I bought the Slotted dish mags, with the 35" swampers from Eric(blazinzuk). Had to do a bunch of shuckin' & Jivin' to get the 3/4 ton lug bolts into those axles. A bunch of dough for those rotten 9/16x18 chome acorn lugnuts.

20210904_155034.jpgGot me a nice Northwestfab doubler. Paid $100 for the 203/400 adapter. Ground my own 205 shift rails.
If you look at the lower part of this pic, you can see a hint of my 8.1's EGR mount
