If there is a gap between the bolt and nut, and you have room, use a SawsAll to cut the bolt between the nut and bumper.
Pour a generous amount of 90w on the bolt. That will prolong the life of your blade, and prevent sparks.
Also have someone hold in on the head with gloves and that will prevent it from turning as the saw blade cuts it.
And, yeah, NutSplitter sounds like what someone would do on a fence when trying to climb over and slipping.
But, they do work cool. About 90% of the time or more, the bolt is not even marked and can be reused if it was just rounded off nut.
Of course, if the bolt it too rusted to take the nut off, it usually does not matter.
