1974 K10 Dirty Sancho

Saved from cruel and unusual punishment
You removed EFI for a carb, it’s karma biting you in the behind:haha:

But on a serious note, hopefully you get it rectified in short order!

It actually fired right up on the first crank without touching the throttle and ran for 5 or so minutes before I shut it off. Came back ten minutes later, no start. Pulled the plugs thinking it may have loaded up, put the new plugs in and it still wouldn't fire. Then I found no spark...

I have another complete distributor cap/coil and another ignition module that I'll swap in.

Happened to one of my 77`s too... ran fine, then no spark...changed to a different dizzy and all is good again!

New dizzy parts got it running?

And is that a tv cable issue or dead tranny?

:thinking: Spark just came back by itself? I love it when shit fixes itself. Lol.

TH350 has a vac modulator IIRC. Not connected and it acts really weird, doesn't want to upshift and stuff.

I threw the light on it, cranked it and it fired up. Who knows.

I had to put the line back on the modulator when I was underneath it the other day. I can feel it shift up, it's just slipping.

I don’t even know what a tv cable is.
You’re asking me??!

:haha::haha::haha::rotfl::haha::haha::thinking::haha::yikes::haha::haha::haha:

I was thinking that as I read your comment about the cable.

So now we know that you are curious

I’m curious how the magic electrons returned to the ignition?
