I kind of figured so...on a 4x4 a plastic cover would be kind of weak...they are hard to find except in chrome...and I refuse to put chrome on there.

Premium GMOTM Winner Joined Nov 1, 2004 Posts 43,018 Reaction score 25,467 Location in the back of your brain Dec 31, 2012 #4 if 4 little screw holes to bell its tin cover . if 6 3/8 bolt holes to bell its aluminum 4x4 version. i dont think the plastic was used in trucks much if at all till 80's and all that chrome stuff SUCKS for sealing / fitment.
