1975 C30 Scottsdale “The Ugly Buffalo”- Out to pasture.

I have no idea yet lol
In a crazy turn of events, I have received this truck as a gift. Was told the fuel pump is out but was being used a few months before it quit. No idea what the plan is yet.

This is as it sits at my buddy’s house. Bringing it home on Saturday.

As seen in the first picture, the hood will need replaced.

The paint scheme is cool, and I am going to try and save it as much as possible. Engine looks decent and not super greasy. Interior is mostly there and not horrible, so the front will probably get a Mexican blanket cover.

First step is a new fuel pump and see how/if it runs and drives ok. If so, it’s just getting used for now.

Stopped by and snagged a couple more pictures. Back seat and cab are in great shape still. Has dual tanks that supposedly work. AC cab and the truck was originally the same blue as my Jimmy.

And my favorite, part, and uncut dash!

The factory wheels on my super duty are just like those, maybe even Alcoas too. Mine are getting lots of corrosion under the clear coat. Some day I might do something about them. I don't know if it would be worth sending to an actually polishing place or just replace with some better, newer take offs when I get to mine.
Did you do that all by hand or do you have a buffer?
This was with aluminum polish called Magic Blue and a mothers cone.

They make a green polish, the name escapes me now, can usually get it at truck stops…metal perfection maybe, they use it on the rigs at work, and those guys don’t like to work to hard so it must clean them easily
