Installing the hood tomorrow. New tires next BFG Mud Terrian T/A M3 33X12.50R15. Next big project restoring the removable top.

Thank you. The 33" should be perfect size. What size tires on it now are some old Dunlop RV 32X11.50/15.

Glad I didn't take it on the freeway. I drove it around the neighborhood with no issues.

Im sure too early to comment, but how do you like the aftermarket hood hinges?

Very nice looking blazer, which body shop did you go with? I'm out in surprise we are pretty close.

With these hood hinges. I feel it would be close to impossibly to bend a hook. I met this guy (Chad) shop is in Buckeye. He is also restoring my Blazer Top. Paint, weatherstripping and glass. If you message me, I can pass on his information. Just him and his buddy. Best work and prices I've found living here.

I think the blue/white is one of the best color combos on the K5. I also like the all orange color.

First off, these hood hinges don't use springs. How smooth these hood hinges open and close. It takes a lot of pressure to close a hood with new factory style hinges/springs, compared to these. Plus, a 40 plus year old hood is more prone to flex.

I meant custom hood hinges. I need to look into getting these. Before I knew better I bent my hood. I since have found an original hood that is unbent and the same color as my hood.
