1977 slinky build*UPDATED wheelin may 30th*

well I put er through the cooling test last night (sitting in the Dairy Queen drivethrough for about 20 minutes) some of which without the fans turned on:eek1: so i think she is ready for this weekend. Pics will hopefully be coming after this weekend.

I'm kind of digging the original two tone as well... normally I'm all about repainting and different schemes but I like it! Great flex too, subscribed.

You're getting some impressive flex out of that setup, especially with the tiny shackles out back. Keep the pics coming!

Where'd you find the floor shifter console? I'd like to put a ratchet shifter in my 77 but not so low on the floor.

hey are you using a stock rear shackle with a custom shackle flip kit?

so I got out this weekend. Everything went well for the first couple hours then my battery ended up falling out and I ran over it......found it on the side of the road hook it up and everything worked, with the exception of a bunch of melted wires for lights/fans from the wires shorting out. So we got that delt with then the we ended up snapping the steering shaft clean off the steering box of the black truck. With everything said and done, I got about 20 seconds of videos, three pictures and we didn't get home till 3:00am. Good thing we had lots of beverages ;)

and yea it is a custom shackle flip in the rear and the floor shifter is just a light truck mega shifter from B&M, its okay. It actually sits fairly high just above my knees when I sit in the truck but you can mount it as high as you want if you make your own frame to mount it on....

no pics on the trail, like I said before we could do anything worth taking pictures or video of, we were broke down and heading to town for parts........

damn! nice rig man! what's the wheeling like in 'loops? im in Fort st John, but i've wanted to wheel there but wasnt sure if it was all just dry trails, your pics say otherwise! keep up the good work!

Thanks, yea wheelin in the loops is alright, quite a bit of rocks if you know where your going and LOTS of mud if you know where your going.
