1978 C-10 brush guard on a 1st gen K-5

My folks had one on those on 3 different suburbans. A 88, 91 and a 96. It should mount to the bumper itself. So it should fit long as the bumper is of similar size.
Frame mounted.
It "might" fit--I believe the frame rails are the same distance apart on the 67-72 trucks as the 73-87 ones,but the front horns may be a bit different,and the bumper will have a different shape where the brush guard butts against it on the 73 up trucks..
You can "make" it fit with some mods if it doesn't bolt up..
