The coolant reservoir is different in your truck and mounts to the fender. This one mounts to the core support and you won't be able to use it without the offer front clip.

Any chance the Pontiac to Chevy motor mounts are still there? Or even a picture of them?

The motor is still installed and needs to be checked and pulled before to long. I just need to get the lift cleared in the shop to get it inside for that. I can get a better look at them once I pull the sheetmetal.
Would you sell the tailgate gmc trim strip separate?
I would rather not separate the trim at this time.

Putting a Pontiac in my Suburban is always on the list so I like to see how others did it.

We have some good weather so I went out and grabbed some updates pics. I would guess this engine was installed by Bubba, his welds were not up to the task though and the motor got an extra chain to hold it down.

Although, I'm thinking it was a Buick 455 with a Pontiac air cleaner when I bought it. Looks like I sold the air cleaner already.

Last Buick 455 I had couldn't sell it for $100, finally someone asked for parts off it, before you know it I made $600 off it.
It was already apart when I got it so it wasn't more work

That engine seems weird to me. Buick valve covers are more square. Front bolt for valve cover is different. Valve cover looks like Olds 455, but front distributor. Strange...

Then the Pontiac must be in the C30. I figured out one of them was a Cadillac motor, then forgot which one was in which truck.
