1978 K20- Rusty beater farm truck
I see your 400 bushel grain cart, and I raise you a 700 bushel gravity wagon!

Very nice! We're just a small family farm, all of our harvest gets done with a 1660 Axial flow and a 32' semi normally. Both of our ancient UFT grain carts are wore out so even this older Brent is a huge upgrade.

Small family farms are very different depending upon location. My father has a small family farm. He owns the combine together with a neighbor, and we harvest together. It is a brand new John Deere every year. They both have a 1082 Brent grain cart.

Around here we are the definition of small farm. Our new combine is a 1986 1660 axial flow (replaced a Deere 6620 sidehil) and our newest tractor is a 1985 Allis 8070. Our Cat skid loader is the newest piece of equipment. But I thoroughly enjoy it that way also

Slowly getting back on this. Over the last couple evenings I've gotten the cylinders honed and all the surfaces cleaned. Inspected the crank and old bearings, no unusual wear or issues.

Got the crankshaft in with the new bearings and torqued down. Then reinstalled the cam (stock) with a new cloyes heavy duty roller chain.

I'd be outside working on it with my day off but we're getting some much needed rain right now so I'm not going to complain one bit. It'll still be there tomorrow.

I said that once to.

Then life happened.

Of course your building it quite a bit differently then I have been going about things... Keeping it running while you build....
