Hey all,

I'm new and just bought a 1980 K5 Blazer. But I have found some problems that I would like to know if y'all could help me out on.

1. The radio doesnt work. (I think it might be a blown fuse but I'm not sure which is the radio fuse)
2. Speedometer is way off (15 mph or so (stock sized tires might be worn cable?))
3. Fuel Gauge doesnt work ( is stuck on 1/4 a tank no matter what
4. The lights on all the gauges are dim and worn out. How easy are these to replace?

Thanks in advance

The fuse panel says which is which, cant recall which myself,if its aftermarket theres probably an inline holder also under the dash.
2. Speedometer is way off (15 mph or so (stock sized tires might be worn cable?))

My 84`s with 33`s is also off 15 mph, parts are avaliable from various places to recal it.

Unfortunatly id say the sender in the tank is shot, seems to be common on every mid eighties chevy Ive owned. I can tell you the one in out 83 hay wagon will not go over 1/4 but whet it drops from there its pretty much correct.

4. The lights on all the gauges are dim and worn out. How easy are these to replace?

If you have small hands yes, while instruments are in place,if not pull the dash panel and then the clusted back for access ,there in little black 1/4 turn sockets or holders. They break easily and are avaliable at most auto parts stores for a few dollars each. I think there the 5/8" ones.

Thanks in advance

Hope this helps a bit.
