I have some 15”x6” factory wheels and hubcaps. I plan to throw them on this with some second hand hankook at 33/12.50/15s.

Cleaned the carb and got my rims and tires on. I decided to take the top off too.

Added a pickup tailgate today. The second picture illustrates the previous owner’s solution to the rusted out hinge mounts.

welded in some 1/8 angle and flat-stock to some really rotted areas. It looks like crap, but I can sit on the tailgate without anything flexing and moving now.

Got this thing out for the first time in a long time. Decided to order some wheels for it so I can run 16” tires since I have a few good sets of 315/75/16s laying around. I plan to swap the front springs with a 3 leaf pack and add a zero rate then add a block to the rear.

Got the front leafs and zero rates installed. Tomorrow I will do a 1.5” block in the rear.

Got the blocks in the rear. I’m really happy with the way it sits

New wheels came in, so I obviously had to drop everything and get them mounted.

Finished my floor. Looks rough but the body is now one solid piece instead of flopping apart. The only thing this cost me was time, cut off wheels, and welding wire. I plan to order vinyl flooring to cover all of this up.

Yes I have; I took it on a maybe 10 mile drive. I think it handles bumps better now, but that probably has more to do with the new shocks I installed

Thanks! They are Dexter trailer wheels and work really good for what I was trying to accomplish. You do have to run 3/4 ton hubcaps, but I prefer the look of them anyway.
