Thanks I’m really happy with how it turned out. This thing was “restored” 15 years ago by a car lot according to the previous owner. It has a ton of bondo and fiberglass in it. It looks good from 20 feet but up close you can tell. It’s good enough for what I want; especially since “clean” ones are going for $10-$15k now. I gave $1000 for this and it suits me perfectly fine.Good solution to the rear window!
I like the 16s and 3/4 ton caps too.
Cool rig. Just the way it should be…. Not restored, solid and usable.![]()
Cheaper than Vintiquie wheels too good find. Thanks! They are Dexter trailer wheels and work really good for what I was trying to accomplish. You do have to run 3/4 ton hubcaps, but I prefer the look of them anyway.
For some reason they were $100 cheaper from that supplier I found them originally on etrailer then searched the part number on eBay.Cheaper than Vintiquie wheels too good find.
I have a set of Spicers on the spare K5 frame sitting in my yard...hmmmLove the wheel, hub cap & tire combo - also the Spicer Hubs; please don’t ever swap them out !
It’s not fully weather tight, but it holds heat a lot better, and it keeps exhaust fumes outLove that window idea!
