1980 Blazer K5, $18,000 invested in project and selling for $6,500. I have lost interest in the truck; my loss is your gain. I have replaced all body bushing and replaced all rubber products through out when I repainted each part of the truck individually. The truck has about 5,000 miles and never out of the city with no dents or dings.
GM crate 350 with 4 bolt mains. Holley Truck Avenger carb.
Dynomax ceramic headers, new custom exhaust (air pump plumbed to rear of headers).
TH350 transmission rebuilt by AASTRO Transmission with Art Carr Shifter.
NP205 transfer case completely rebuilt with “twin shift levers”.
Custom built drive shafts, 10 bolt front axel (3.07 gears) by Simons Driveline and 12 bolt rear axel (3.07 gears) by Tom Woods Driveline both with extended travel.
Lift is 5” with Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks and 20” of vertical travel on rear axle.
Disc brakes on all wheels.
33” Goodyear tires with good tread (about 3/8”).
New GM dash (not after market) and Danhard heater/defroster, NO A/C.
Autometer gages in custom panel.
New interior door panels, head liner, reupholstered seats and new rubber floor mats.
Rear compartment has Gator Guard lining and rubber mat.
Doors have new power window motors, guides, seals and door panels.
New windshield and rubber seals. All windows and doors have new rubber seals.
New body mounts installed front to back.
Fuel tank was cleaned and poly lined with new sending unit.
Body was professionally prepared and painted Jaguar metallic green.
The only rust on the entire truck was on the interior under the gas pedal and was repaired.
