I'm off Tuesday, Hopefully I can get a picture of the shocks tacked on.
Is that the new thing? Welding your shocks up?

I was going to say I don't remember it being like that buy my memory is vague when we were crawling around looking at the steering.

If it were me, and I have a bender, I would run the horizontal shock tube down to the front of the frame.down
I thought of that also, 4 tie ins to the frame?
It may not have increased anyone's productivity, but I got a laugh out of it. Carry on...
Wade, Is your shock hoops directly on the top of the frame? I was over briefly tonight and tried the 1.75 tube I have and it wouldn't sit flush on the top rail.
I also remembered that my headers wrap over the top of the rail. I will have to use frame spuds, spaced off the frame. Instead of the tube being bent and the horizontal piece on the inside, I may have to have it bent into the engine side to allow the shock to be tipped in towards the center.
I would prefer the hoops to be pointed out to the tires for a visual aspect but maybe straight up off the spuds is a better chance for working.

Could you maybe mount them on the "corner" of the frame? So like notch out half of the tube?
That would work to.
I welded plate to the top of the frame. Then welded the tubing to the plate. They lean out so the shocks stand vertical. Lean the top of the shock in as far as you can.
I think I see what you mean, you plated the top and welded sides so the top of the rail where the tube mounted was wider?
41% 5.875 bump travel, 8.125 droop travel with the coil overs tipped in at a 7 degree angle.
Looks so freaking cool at this angle had to post the pic.
