Hmmm weird, didn't notice it until the shaft was in, maybe a hub is locked or something. It probably is the loose nut behind the wheel.

I was kind of driving like a fool braking into corners and leaning the body way over.
 
I will take a look when I get home it kind of felt like the front end was pulling so I stopped and made sure the tcase was in 2wd.(I still don't have a shifter)
 
Unlock your hubs and put the tcase in 2wd.

The shaft should not be spinning otherwise.
 
Haha, it actually drives so much better now then when it was 2wd.

Tcase is in 2wd and hubs unlocked, guess it's just the nature of the beast.

Do you have a way of verifying that the shaft(s) are not turning? You could well have a lockout stuck in the locked position. But the shaft should not be turning if all 3 ends are disconnected. That would be overly magical.

If you can round up a spotter that would help eliminate this possibility.
