Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but I have a core that I took out of my '90 Jimmy. I assume that it has 280K on it, but it worked well for me even in 4 low. It has a cracked fill plug bung, it leaks some, not horrible, but I have another rear case half.
I know that Greyhound used to do shipping on things, maybe that's an option.

Oh? Does this mean you want to part with it?

Oh, sorry. Yeah, I would sell it. I don't know how to price it as it was good working condition , but has the crack.
It leaked about 1/2 of a quart per year, back when my son drove it full time. I have sold one for $200, because yards here are high priced. Maybe $150, and if you wanted the used rear half another $20? I don't remember if it has a good speed sensor of 4wd switch in it.
I tried calling Fastenal's shipper before , but I didn't leave a message, so I don't know how much that would be.

I should clarify that I held off on saying anything because I thought that you would find something better and closer.

I understand, these yards have them priced so cheap it was worth a shot, I just can't get them to ship! How soon are you wanting to get rid of it?

I am in no hurry. I have had it stored away in a building at work for over a year now.

No idea, but we can figure it how somehow. Hopefully you find something with fewer miles, without a problem, and closer.

This case did go to BB14 without issue!
:saweet:

Honestly I feel more comfortable with yours then anything else.
I appreciate that.
I wonder if FedEx freight would be a reasonable price.
I don't have any K5 gas tank crossmembers available right now to add on. Don't know if you still have that planned.

I shipped 80ish LBS to Topeka from Denver for 80 bucks with UPS in a 23×16×12 crate..

I've shipped NP241 & NP208 via FedEx with a cheap rubbermaid tote all wrapped up with duct tape.

Yup. I had one shipped to me from a brother few years back. Had him buy a tote from Home Depot and put it in the UPS’d to my door. And now I have a little tote with misc shit in it for the garage. I want to say I paid like $250/300 for my 241 but it was a cable drive.

Does this have the 27 spline input?
