Don't confuse the spindle with the hub...a loose spindle is another problem...
I usually have a problem with the loose nut behind the steering wheel.

Damn $88 per spindle, I keep the stock ones that work just fine,
Correct, my bad on terminology.
Well today was a good work day. Swapped the trans pan, not leaking anymore, also tightened the hub, rotated the tires it's yearly oil change and installed a set of Amber lights. Also found something extremely weird...
Shocks are bottoming
Bottomed out the shock.
Hope the frame is ok.
I'm sure it's fine, the hole that shock mount goes in is most assuredly oblonged
IdI be surprised if there wasn't spider cracks there.
I'm afraid to look, I'll have to pull the shock off and take a look. Next weekend I'm road tripping it to see @Mr.Clean
I know of a place that makes a brace to help that shock mount...
That same place sells a cool suspension kit for the rear.
Truck is as good as it's going to get, dropping it off tonight after work then Saturday morning it hits the highway for a 203 mile road trip. I'll be packing tools and filling the box up with stuff just in case, I'm so excited but scared at the same time.

So I took apart the truck today and we put the parts on a race truck ran the race and swapped them back... Tomorrow I drive home.
