I have found it is the bees knees of stand alone harness. You wouldn't happen to know where I could get a write up on someone making their own harness with the CPW block would you?

I haven't been over on teh S10 forum since I sold mine. But I remeber there was a ton of info about it. I can't think of anything specific though.

Ktm, the steel plate I had is rather rusty and I think it would be best with a fresh plate. What do you recommend for the front receiver?
 
180 to 220 for featheredging/prepping old paint...... 400 is too fine for primer....
 
About your new wire harness, is that to re wire the whole truck? Or just to wire up the ls?

Edit, never mind, on my pc I can read the instructions you posted. Couldn't on my phone! That looks like a perfect way of doing a stand alone harness!
 
Yes just for the engine. I figured sense my truck wasn't TBI and was missing a lot it would begood.
 
lol! But seriously though, i can not wait until i get to do what your doing! I sooo badly want to get a truck down that far and buy paint and modify everything imaginable. y5mgisi<----Jealous.
 
Well most of us dream of doing what you are doing! So us wanting to be successful would like to see what its like to see a person successfully complete a project like this. I guess its so that we can get a sense of that feeling of accomplishment that we also want? I dunno. I think its the same way people cheer on race car drivers and stuff like that. Doesn't really make a difference to us if they win or loose, but we want them to win!
 
I have been talking/building this in my head for the passed 10 years. I have been saving tax returns and putting away a bit each paycheck for 6 years.:eek1: For all these years I have been very cheap, like not buying new clothes for 3 years because I wanted truck fund money. :haha:
 
As things come together on this you will feel better about what you have done and start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep up the good work. I'm watching your progress.
