When are you taking it to that garage? Maybe it will be cooler in there to work on it.
Should be a couple of weeks, hoping I can get it rolling again and It might be going to a different garage then that one for awhile. 
Looking at the hoop again I think I might use the stands offs and have the come off like in this picture. If I remember right weld the tube to the frame then slip the plate over and double weld it?

I didn't realize it but my helper and I made a mistake yesterday and I ordered a new heim and bung for the drag link.

I will be removing the ac condenser and all that business on the passenger side of the motor. I thought the driver side was going to be a pain with the master cylinder and the steering column... Nope that sides cake. The other sides a biatch

And I'm sure your community will be sooo much better off once that eyesore is out of the driveway. I wouldn't rush to offer anyone around there any help or do anything out of the ordinary to be a model citizen in that town. That's just me though. I just don't see how a city can charge you taxes to live on your own property and then tell you what you can and can't do on it. I think once you get the mall crawler going, you should drive by city hall with your middle finger in the air and do some burn outs and doughnuts in the parking lot. Just be sure and take a video and post it on here.

Lol, all my neighbors like me. Saturday I did a fuel filter for my neighbor and he didn't want me to drop what I was doing to help. The other neighbor I got his k5 running better after it sounded like poop.

Yes I can, I'm a little upset but at the same time I'm not surprised. It is what it is, I'm a pretty easy going person that goes with the flow. This is just another obstacle being tossed out I will overcome.
