KTMoutfront, this is prolly before your time, but we had a guy here with a Blazer with a frame lift. Yeah. Two frames stacked. Without triangulation. Possibly only U-bolted, certainly not entirely welded.
I couldn't even count how many kinds of scary it was...

There's one of those on a farm out east. It was for sale a few years ago. Advertised as a 6 inch lift with stock suspension. Thought it was a joke, until I saw pictures.

That is certainly interesting. I don't see why one couldn't build such a thing safely...but stacking 2 frames together without reinforcement sounds terrible.
