Talked with Chris today at Ord and he measured the small block vs big block members. Looks like the small block cross member is going to work. I may need to do a slight horizontal notch on the forward tube and fill it in. Anybody know what this technique is called?
The new calculation if everything works right I'll have 41% bump travel.
Sitting at ride height, looks like 35's it is, hope the 3.73's make the trans happy.
seems like the track bar would clear better flipped around
With the way it is in the picture at full bump it goes flat and the bend goes around the frame. Just at ride height it looks goofy.

so im trying to brain storm idea on how to pull the cab and bed off the frame...

absolutely, was thinking about running a 2x6 across the pinch welds on the cab enough for where their arms are not extended when the frame rolls out from under the cab.

Maybe you should reconsider taking the cab off the frame until you get back and just get it driving reliably for now so you can make BB14 with as little stress as possible. Just a thought.

The plan for under the cab and bed is a quick scuff with a scotch bright then wipe down and use a rattle can mixed to my paint code then set back on. should only take a day to do.
