Passed few days it's been 110+ and it's draining my energy fast in the day. I think I have Friday off and plan on a update soon

If I wasn't stuck at work, I'd be working on the S-10. I'll be working on it after I get home today.

This is how I started the day out today, not much of a update but it's progress

I cut the drivers side shock hoop off and sent it over to get bent, 3 hours later I had another hoop bent, they were not able to get it in one shot though it needs sleeved in the center. I was talking to the guy about the shop and they won the Baja 1000 in 2012.:thumb:

EBay has conversion heater boxes for AC trucks. You should look into them instead of doing what 90% do and loosely slap a piece of sheet metal over the hole and blast a couple screws in it :screwy:

Also I didn't realize your engine was still just a long block, how come you're not slapping accessories on it while you wait for parts?

Still need to paint and unclutter the engine stuff. It's in multiple locations.

Here soon ill get it going, just wasn't a priority.

Only down fall to that is the ones I have found use a blower motor when the vintage air system has heat to it.

Wade would kill me if I cut the firewall and re worked it and I don't want to get into that mess. :doah:

Thinking about the cross bar and would it look silly if it was a straight piece? Here is a horrible photoshop job.

The hoops are really high, I think it is my only choice. Hopefully it clears the roots blower. :haha:

Started researching how to notch and came up with this template. beats me if this will work but I'll give it a try. http://metalgeek.com/static/cope.pcgi

With the top bar, if it clears everything, run it straight. With the notch template, I don't think a soul on here has ever used a notch template to notch tube. If you don't have a notcher, just use a grinder and shape the end of the tube until it's right.
