I was but 37's fit in
Have you cycled, cycled, cycled?
Dude, I beg of you, do yourself a favor and at least wear out a set of 35s. When that day comes, regear to 4.56 and get 37s. That is what will make your life the happiest. I promise.
Especially with that motor....Better go ctms and chromos now in the 10 bolt if its gonna be locked. 37s are going to kill it.
I was but 37's fit in

I'm scared with 10bolts/35s with a 5.3.... much less a 6.0 and 37s.
If you buy all those parts Shawn just mentioned, go for it. But i think thats gonna be a shocker when you see the cost of all that stuff added up.
The bummer I see is just running 35's still doesn't equal reliability with stock shafts and joints
the arb let's parts live, and makes the truck idle/crawl over parts where others are forced to bump it or apply the throttle.
One option he can do is to do the gears and arb, and spend the 1000 on shafts and joints later
the pain with that plan is for a trip like moab or far trips I wouldn't want to be hinting for 31 spline 10 bolt shafts after I brake mine and my spare 1 day into a 5 day trip.
For me it's more about reliability, he likes the truck and want to practically be buried in it, if he later keeps blowing it up too much or wants to go bigger,a 2.0 rebuild with a custom retubed dana 50 or 60 would be a good option.
