One last update before bed.:doah: I'm starting to make killer progress lately.

Cluster side all wired up, I need a few leds to do the indicater lights though. Not sure if I can pick those up in town or not. I need to clean the spaghetti but it isn't so bad, I wish the harness wasn't completely crimped, I would have liked to shortened the wires some. Overall I'm pleased with the outcome.:thumb: Got to love JJ and classic dash.:woot:

Wednesday I have the day off and Shawn should he over so stay tuned for even more progress.:eek1:

That's who I bought my indicator panel from. He builds nice stuff and ships quickly... at least he did for me.

I did a left turn, check engine light, high beams, 4x4, acc, right turn. <- something like that

That is a possibility, not many options available. I would have thought this would have been a market.

I suspect most hot rod / custom dash / crazy types ... run a stick.

Martin will now pop up and say "What's an automatic?" (and "Where's my white wheels with hubcaps?" :haha: )

So I have been looking at rear springs, I don't want to move the tank and I want it cheap.:doah:

Well I'm not affraid to spend money but trying hard not to call Ord to have a setup that matches the front at 14 inches.

So at what point in the build do you give up the rear leafs and just link the rear?

I probably won't link the rear and just keep it simple with leafs. No matter what I do in the rear it will always act goofy to much weight in the front and hardly any in the rear.

I have a dump truck bastard 52 pack with a shackle flip.

Leave it alone for now. Even if you do the ORD springs you need to be able to weigh the truck with everything you want in the bed to give them a real on the ground weight.

Leave it, get it together and do springs later if? that's what you want to do. Leafs are easy to change out.

Only reason I'm considering it is they literally don't move going down the road. I put 3500lbs in the bed and wasn't on the bump stops.

Take a couple of leaves out and see how it does. After you get it moving under its own power that is.
