So who knows of a electric fan shroud that actually covers the entire radiator? I know about the windstar fans but I don't like the fins showing.

Looking for a dual fan setup, might just make one out of steel sense aluminum is spendy.

Honestly for the cost of any decent aftermarket fan you'd be silly not to run a used OEM fan like a Winstar set or something. Just measure your radiator and go to a pick and pull and walk around measuring the e-fans in everything you come across and see what fits.

I would like one that wraps around the radiator almost like factory. Idk maybe I'm dreaming to big.

Go to a sheet metal fab shop with dimensions on radiator, and the fan you choose.

Not even kidding. We used to have custom sheetmetal parts made for running furnaces all the time... Cheap.

Honestly I would measure the core size of your rad. look at the nice spal fans and choose two fans that make up the full core width. I have this idea to get one bigger one and one smaller to run as a backup. Basically have the bigger one kick on as the primary and the smaller as the secondary in your engine computer.

Then take the fans and rad to Campbells shop and have a shroud whipped out. Take a case of budlite to help off set the cost.

Win in all ways.

That sounds like a plan. Maybe I could get a sheet and home made press brake it?

Cutting the big holes for the fans is the hardest thing honestly. I made one years ago and it was just a matter of cutting, bending and some welding. However there are things that other people do well while you work on other things and when it's done you have two things crossed off the list.

I can appreciate the build it myself attitude and like to do things like this as well but at some point you can't do everything all the time. Pick your battles.

Couldn't agree more, but it's tough to farm something out when you know you could do it yourself. I struggle with this all the time. Dead lines, time, priorities, all add to this, or even paying someone just to do a nicer job then you might do yourself. It's tough.

I think you have plenty to do before BB15. It's hot out there, I would just have someone do it and be done with it.

I can look at it while I have it and get a cost idea or run it buy a couple of guys that can whip it out.

Not too hard just an item in the list

Hey Brandon, the girlfriend can't make it to the bash.:doah: you should friend request her on Facebook.:haha:

I missed something. What does the "(Sun Tan Lotion )" tag refer to?

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time I've missed the significance of a title change. I'll blame the thread for going off on so many side trails! :haha:

I pushed it outside for some fresh air. It has sat inside for about a year and a half.
