Curious on that weather strip, I need to do mine baaad it's crazy loud
Can still get them from the dealer, LA warehouse has a bunch.

I hear home depot has a cheap solution. It also doesn't help I don't have a door panel on the drivers side. Eventually I want a head liner and new carpet so it will open a MAW thought process.

yup, I've taken the hub/spindle/locks. Brake caliper/ new pads inner/outer C's inner axles center all unmolested.

I used the same stuff, peel & seal from lowes/HD.

I used some of that in a car I had about 15 years ago. stunk for a bit then went away. only used it on the floor pans, here in phx had too many stories of it melting on other surfaces and leaking out. I noticed a difference in the higher frequencies. Found some cheaper stuff that's butyl based and doesn't leak. Still pretty cheap. You only need to cover about the center 25% of the biggest flat panels to make a large difference..

About the best bang for the buck right now.

You really want it quiet, you do some cld layer w/ a layer of closed cell foam on top of that w/ some mlv on top of that. Acts like a floating floor and starts dropping all frequencies.

just a piece or two makes a difference. IIRC @muddysub found a cheaper alternative for his burb

Peel n seal window flashing from Lowe's. Blocks higher frequencies really well. Lower stuff still gets through, it's better but not perfect. On a small cab like yours I'd do what @JoshHefnerX recommended, you don't have near the square footage I do.

I did the Dynamat and closed cell foam route and it makes a nice difference than before. Keep in mind though that no matter how much sound deadening you put in you'll never get rid of all the wind noise, loud exhaust, and mud tire hum. With the windows up I can talk on my cellphone just fine but it's nothing like a newer truck. Just saying keep your expectations realistic.
