My 72 3/4 ton with 8" lift was scary from about 75 until 90 then somewhere after that it got super quiet and smooth, like spooky quiet and smooth. It was great freeway racing the S10 and super duty guys from work when they were governed at 100-110 and I would come from behind and blow by them at 120-130. Looking back I'm a very lucky guy that I didn't loose it in that thing. Took a little while to get up to speed but once it got rolling it was pretty amazing, second fastest I've ever gone in a vehicle, first only being on a crotch rocket. I'm a much more subdued driver now days.

With that said, your build has come along great! Glad this one was an easy fix with all you have fought through with this build. You definitely deserve to enjoy some trouble free miles. I'm looking forward to seeing you be able to spend your time on further upgrades instead of fighting problems. Keep up the great work! :thumb:

Sure no problem, I'm on my way home from racing in California right now. I'll be home in 3.5 hours, if I'm still awake I'll try for a few.

Sorry for the late reply, dead tired. Was a 883 mile trip with race prep and racing. Left Friday at 5am back Sunday at 2am, slept 4.5 hours in the middle.

Hopefully this is what you were after. I did t have a lot to cut the grille with so it isn't the best.

No problem, my grille also bowes out a little bit but you can't tell. I tried to mount it as far up and to center as I could. With my oil cooler on the other side it ran Into the mix.

Beyond ridiculous. My favorite so far is when I about ran over a lady in Ranger that rolled a stop sign because she was too busy firing up a bowl to stop.
 
I do want to do some body work, doesn't need a lot but some.

I'm trying to budget about 2000 to do it myself.
 
Question: what transmission are you running? I know you uad a rash of bad luck at first, but seeing how this thread accounts for half the total server space for CK5 I don't much feel like digging back through it to find out.

:haha: It's a 02 4l60E beefed up to handle a lot just as long as the lines are free from crap.
