Be aware lsa superchargers had a massive recall for metal
Shavings.

They had to Do my 11' V. A lot of what is out there came from those recalls

Most of the recalled units where because of the isolator spring making noise. Since gm didnt make the unit they chose to replace the complete unit with one that already has the solid isolator factory installed.

This - as long as the snout doesn't have a strong groove ground in it, there's a strong chance it's just fine.

Before the recall, I installed a solid isolator in my LSA and it worked great for many more miles.

Isolator was the cause of failure yes, just wanted to point that out, after the recal came out, Craigslist exploded with lsa bottoms. The re used the lids so typically it's just the bottom of the unit for sale

You can support the weight of the vehicle on the shock bodies with no springs. The way the shock is built it really just becomes a great big column at that point and is fine. Nothing touches inside to hurt things, where shocks get pissed is topping them out. Meaning the shaft is all the way out and pulls on the end gland of the shock. This can F' some things up.

The final bumpstop on the Race car front end was the shocks, we had the bump zone in the bypass but there wasn't an air bump.

It's ok.

First time in 21 days I have drove the truck and sense it's about 106 out the trans temp crept up to the highest 183... Guess it's time to order the inline temp gauge to trigger the fan.

Would it be a bad idea to put it on a battery hot wire so it turns off once the temp gets low enough for the tstat? Even with the engine not running?

I wouldn't want it running with the engine off, it's not going to cool much without the fluid moving through the cooler anyway.

Drove the truck for the last time before I rip it down for Blazer Bash, trans got a little hot, tipped in at 200 when I shut it off. also did 77 miles and got 8.3mpg, was easy on it not sure why it's so thirsty.

Dare i say the trans is slipping?
Shifted fine only just barely hit it.

If I hit 20k miles I'll consider it a win anyway. :haha:

GM specs (at least what I've heard) for the Allison is 100 degrees warmer than ambient is normal. I realize this isn't an Allison but still I'd think it could be applied here.
