Ordered up two relay light harness, hoping someone wants to do a night run for Moab. Also on my lunch the other day went and bought 40 dollars worth of flap disks and cut off wheels from harbor freight.

I've had good luck with cheap packs purchased from AmazonThe HF flap disks are horrible. The cut off wheels aren't too bad. I've had decent luck with the dewalts from tractor supply. 36 grit is the only thing worth while for removing metal. 60 works okay for cleaning paint/ metal, but rolocks work the best for those.

I was going to give you shit about the HF abrasives, they all suck IMO. The death wheel is scary enough, I don't need to add HF disks into the mix
I used the CK5 vendor we had on here, bought boxes of flaps and pearl cut off wheels for a pretty good price.
I agree. HF abrasives suck ass. They seem cheaper until you actually use them. Do you remember the vendor you got your stuff from?
I went back and looked, it was Roark https://ck5.com/forums/threads/4-5-zirconia-flap-discs-–-made-in-germany-–-1-79.324939/#post-3615230

They seem to work ok for me, never used a good quality one though. I suck at fab so a work out one makes it easy for me to not make mistakes.![]()
@mrk5 sorry! My short attention span didn't scroll up. Thanks!
At the rate I'm going hopefully it gets done. You got plenty of time
