looks to me like your suspension would be wearing on them all the time.

I can't see how them pulling sideways is a better solution than just waiting a few days to fix it correctly
They technically can be mounted at a angle but I have to much stuff going on in that small spot.
I'll grind the other mount tomorrow and prep for new ones come wednesday.

No way I would go back to leaf springs on this truck.
The rear will probably stay leaf for ever, but it will get some goodies that will make it go fast.
Grinded off the limit strap bracket and measured for the new ones.
Sense I didn't have those I started on my tow points to get a idea, this will go behind the factory bumper.

Kinda hard to hook up to those shackles if the bumper is right in front of it...

This is what I have with 3/4 bolts and a 3/4 shackle. Do you think this is enough?

I could weld it to the cradle that wraps around the frame for extra beef.
That will take some heat to melt
Probably, I don't think my welder is up to it. Maybe if I went really slow and put a lot of it onto the mount.
Just bolt it. Preferably with a plate backing up the back side of the frame, or bolt it through that cradle.
I highly advise bolt on retrieval points. I trust few peoples welds enough to give a tow hook the business.

It will be bolted through the cradle.
Man im no good at fab, trashed a set of bumper brackets, tried to mount them to the cradle but it doesn't fit, cut them up only to have the bumper really low...
Also found out I have had a ear Infection for almost 2 weeks now and didn't even know it.... also didn't know what one feels like and how does a 29 year old get one???? I also put on the same shirt i wore yesterday and it was still wet from swet 24 hours later...
