Makes no sense I don't get it?? I thought it was for only little kids.

Not necessarily. Kids just have them More frequently because some kids stay snotty and congested all the time. The infection travels through the nasal sinuses to the inner ear. Same for adults, yet we know how to blow and wipe our nose to get the bacteria out, so just less common. Of course there are also other ways to get one. Have you done any swimming lately?

Kids also get them more often because their ear canals are sloped the wrong way so they don't drain properly. As they grow the ear canal gets moved into the proper position.

Weird, have felt fine and haven't been swimming in a long time.

I got "swimmer's ear" a few years ago and I don't swim. I can't remember now what caused it though.

Maybe try wearing ear muffs instead of plugs? That's what I do.

I work in a lot of loud engine rooms and dirty ear plugs can become a problem for certain people. Use earmuffs when your hands are dirty, or wash up before squishing and ear plug into your ear.

I used to get ear infections so bad as a kid my hearing was affected. Felt like I had an ice pick being rammed into my brain. It was so bad I had to get tubes installed just so the drainage could get out. Amazing how much better I could hear once it cleared up.

Quick tip, take a washcloth and soak it in hot water. Wring it out and lay it over your ear. The heat of the cloth will help with the pain. Lay on your side with the sore ear up to be most effective.

Goal for tomorrow, re weld the bump stop brackets, paint and primer the frame bolt in the bumps. Replumb trans cooler line and pull the tcase for reseal and shifter.
