Is the 5th page some kind of cryptic clue?

How about your lowering plans?
A clue I need to get doing something with this truck... Rain delay, should be interesting I don't have a wiper system on the truck. I wont be able to get as much done as I want to this weekend but I will at least pull the air bumps off and get them rebuilt this week.

After looking under the truck and in the bell housing I don't think the pump seal is bad, I need to clean and run it for a bit.

You guys with your straight-axled trucks stressing out over how to get more bump travel are absolutely adorable!!! :)

My axle centerline is 4.5” above the wheel centerline. Try getting a respectable bump travel number with that kind of nonsense. It will make you appreciate just how easy your current challenges really are....

I know what you mean, after talking to my buddy that works at a fabrication shop that builds pre runners and race trucks he said aim for a 40% bump number. I just need to adjust my coil overs and rebuild the air bumps.

When I originally set the ride height I went for as close to a 50/50 split and still go under a garage door. I cherry picked the frame and rolled the cab under and did my measurements... :haha:

Got a call into ORD they are going to set me up with fixing the leaky air bumps.

Also I found where the massive oil leak is coming from. It isn't the trans after all, it's the autometer oil sender.... I'm really not happy with these things at all they SUCK big let down. It's got a mist shooting out when it revs.

From what part of the sender? I had a mystery oil leak I decided was the oil pan, your post makes me wonder if it was the sender. I would have to double check, but the oil sender might actually make sense as the source.

Not sure, the block has a metric to not adapter then the sender screws into that. I tightened them both down and cleaned the area. I'm waiting for it to dry and I'll hope for the best.

It appears I have the wrong valley cover gasket on top of the engine where the knock sensors are. I can see rubber protruding from the plate. I don't remember how it sits but that doesn't seem right to me.

Just for giggles I took the sender off and plugged it.

Yup the valley cover is leaking... No idea how unless it blew the seal out. When revved it does hit 70psi of oil and 50 at idle.
