It's at 5 inches of bump travel, might crank them up a half inch for a 40% bump travel.

It might be me but it seemed to handle better? Not sure why it would though.
More spring preload raises the spring rate up a bit.. that will help. If it was me it would be around 6 inches up travel.. that’s where we find the sweet spot for crawling and go fast to be..
 
Hmm yeah that does make sense now. This thing crawls once a year if I'm lucky so not worried about that.
 
It turns out the gasket is correct, I just put it on backwards.... I'm amazed it hasn't been a huge leak from day one. No idea why it took this long to really blow out.

Drivers side is on the top, I have the gasket upside down... It explains why it's so difficult to get the oil sender in and out.:haha::rotfl:
 
Not sure why but now the engine has a bog coming off idle when it's at 3/4 throttle. It is hesitant then wakes up... I wonder if pulling the battery cable will do anything? Doubt it but worth a try.
 
The knock sensors are in the valley cover, and are notorious for crapping out when removed.

The alternator is a new one from AutoZone and has to do with (PCM) uses the generator field duty cycle signal circuit to monitor the duty cycle of the generator. The generator field duty cycle signal circuit connects to the high side of the field winding in the generator. A Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) high side driver in the voltage regulator turns the field winding ON and OFF. The PCM uses the PWM signal input to determine the generator load on the engine. This allows the PCM to adjust the idle speed to compensate for high electrical loads. It still charges just fine and has never been a issue.
