It's in a place that's going to get kicked and stepped on constantly. It'll be covered in dust/dirt, scratched up, etc. you'll never notice it after a while :waytogo:

For sure, trying to make it the best I can but also realizing this. I’ll put dad’s diamond plate panels back on just cause so it will hide some.

Trying to take the doors off to give them a good paint and sanding but I’ll need help taking them off and put on.

I’m not supposed to lift more than 10lbs for 5 weeks. I think I can talk a few people in for taking them off and on but I want to buy something I can set them on and do it right

Put a strap on the door wrapped around a few times , where the flat stops and the bend starts at the top.
Then just use your cherry picker to lift up on it ever so slightly and pop the pins out.
Use the lift to lay them on a table or something.

My cherry picker sucks it doesn’t go that high.

That's a good idea. Strip of 3m stair tread.

My cheap HF cherry picker will touch my 9'8" ceiling lol.
Your picker must be OLD lol.

For something as light as a door, you can pull the extension out, put the pin back in, and slide the extension back in against the pin. Gives you almost a 1' of extra height...
(That's how mine touches the ceiling ) Lol
Just don't lift an engine that way :thumb:

The extension weighs more than 10lbs, now he needs a second hoist to extend the first hoist!

Sad part is it's true. :haha:

Yeah think even pushing a stubborn hoist around would exceed Drs orders.
Take a break Ben wish I were closer I would be over to help with your doors.
Thanks, I have a few friends near by, just trying to get a little further but defiantly not pushing it.

Painted behind the seat, need to pull the doors off but assembly is going to start until I can figure out how to do that.

Figure out how to pull the doors off?
You can unbolt the door from the hinge.
The hinge has a bolt under the front fender so not easy to take them off the body.
Sorry I just realized it's carrying them that is your issue

Yes, what’s your thoughts on the shifter? Curious if you want to part ways with jt

I could put a jack under it and rotate it onto a stand, but putting them on might be harder and scratch it up
