1983 C20. I have no self control.

Little updates now that its warming up. Ive been driving it here and there. Put some LED bulbs in the dash. Tach installed. I never got door keys with the truck so I installed new locks in the doors and ignition. Fixed the power locks and windows.

Also I dont think I ever showed the best part of the truck. The overhead gun rack. Fits my 16.5" 1895 just right

That's a perfect spot for a truck gun. Back window racks always leave them visible to everyone and lots more inviting to thieves.

Key is to have a double rack and only keep on gun in it.

That way the thief will always wonder what you have with you. Lol

Yeah, cutting a coil isn’t going to be low enough haha. 2” down as is. Just ordered 2.5 spindles for it. Probably cut another half or full coil off when they get in

Damn you're really trying to slam it to the ground. Did you have to notch the rear frame?

Yeah, frame got notched about 3" the limiting factor now is the large 14 bolt diff hitting the bed floor. Which is fine, because you can only go so low in the front without major work. Should be about 5/7" drop all said and done.

Tossed on the dodge winter wheels. Taking the wheels downtown for some new tires tomorrow. Spent some time breaking free the adjusters on the tie rod ends. Do a tape measure alignment with the new tires on.

Oh and I still have this brush guard to put on. I just hate taking these bumper bolts out so much. Every one is in a horrible spot

The previous owner of my C10 put hex bolts in the bumper. I figured I could quick zip them off with the cordless ratchet and zip the new ones on. You are right, they are not convenient to get to.

Yeah, pretty much calls for a wrench and 1/4 turn at a time. Extra annoying if your bolts have crud built up on them.

Got my new tires on. Went with a 235/60r16 so like 27” tall. Exhaust should self clearance

Quite the collection! I've stuck all mine on the roof inside the cab.
