I've had this truck for 9-1/2 years, and have built it up from stock. Check that link for pics.

  • 6.2l diesel with Banks turbo, serpentine drive, & Fluidampr
  • Carter electric lift pump, FM100 fuel filtration, Kennedy Diesel injection pump
  • Manual glow, starter, TCC lockup, and injection cold-idle advance switches
  • Manual windows, floor vents, and heat mixer door (factory push-pull cable).
  • Bowtie Overdrives Stage II 700R4, NP208 TCase
  • High-Angle Driveline 1350 rear driveshaft (stock front shaft), Spicer Life joints
  • Open D60 front, 14BFF rear with Detroit Locker and Sky Offroad disc kit - 4.10 gears and 3/8" RuffStuff diff covers
  • Missouri Offroad Outfitters rear shock inboarding kit, Bilstein 5150 shocks all around
  • ORD crossover, highsteer, and engine crossmember
  • ORD (Alcan) 4" front springs, ORD 4" rear shackle flip
  • XJ steering shaft
  • 315/75R16 (35") BFG AT tires (Date code July 2013)
  • 3" mandrel-bent straight-pipe from the turbo back
  • Banks boost and EGT gauges
  • Delta sidesaddle tool boxes
  • H4 headlight conversion
  • Stock AM radio with UniSound :waytogo:
2007
  • Rebuilt engine installed
  • New BTO transmission
2010
  • Axles rebuilt, upgraded, & installed with new brake calipers and discs
  • All new steering/suspension components (except rear springs)
2014
  • New Kennedy injection pump
  • New serpentine system and engine accessories installed (new pulleys, PS pump, alt, water pump, fan clutch & fan, idlers)
  • New radiator, hoses, and steel trans cooler lines
  • New batteries
  • All new battery and starter cables (1/0 AWG)
  • New starter
Detractors:
  • Has one spot of cancer behind the rear passenger-side tire. It's been there since I got it, and I live in the desert so I never addressed it. Otherwise a rust free California truck.
  • The speedo and fuel gauges don't work. I use GPS for speed and mileage. The dash-mounted Garmin stays with the truck. Aftermarket oil/temp/voltage gauges are installed in the bezel and do work accurately.
Trade preferred for a diesel 4x4 utility tractor in the 35HP region. Minimally with a front-end loader; additional 3-pt attachments desirable (box/blade scraper, auger, harrow). If you wanna pay cash, the price is $8000.

Nice rig. What's the reason for the sale?
I need (want?) a tractor. We moved to a lil' bit of acreage last year and there are projects and maintenance that need that kind of machinery.

I have a Burb, Blazer, UTV, this truck, and my wife's Terrain...each runs great and has its purpose. Of all those, however, the truck gets the least seat time these days. Between careers (both me and the wife) and raising our son, vehicle maintenance has become more burdensome than it used to be. I don't want any of them to end up rotting.

So if I can get a tractor and it can go to a good home in a nice efficient little deal, I'm OK with it. If I sell it, the price is a bit proud (and I know that)...then I still gotta go thru the process of locating and buying a tractor.

If it does go, part of the deal will be that the buyer/trader not look in the mirror on the way out...cuz I'll be blubbering. :deal:
