I'm selling my 1984 GMC shortbed pickup. I've completely gone through this thing from front to back. I'll tell you what doesn't work right off the bat. There are a couple of interior pieces that I have but just haven't took the time to install them yet, like the visors and headliner. The A/C is all there just needs to be charged and the cruise control doesn't work, other than that this truck is awesome. It has a brand new heater core, exhaust system with 26" Cherry bombs and chome tips, new windshield and door seals, a new steering box w/stabilizer, and the XJ steering shaft upgrade, new Edelbrock Aluminum intake and Carb, It's got a 350 4 bolt main that was rebuilt about 35,000 miles ago, and a 700r transmission. I completely rebuilt the front end including installing Warn Premium hubs! I mean every tie rod and ball joint has been replaced along with brand new front discs. It's geared 4:56 front and rear. The paint job a base coat/clear coat, is less than a year old and is jet black. It's had dynamat layed all through the cab for great sound deadening and has a great sound system with features two amps, (one pushes the 4 speaker and the other pushes the 12' sub) and a Pioneer head unit which is iPod compatible. I've had the bed sprayed with LineX and it has a "in bed" toolbox that cannot be seen without actually looking in the bed which isn't easy to do because it also has a 4 inch Super Lift with 35x12.50 BFG Mud Terrain tires which have less than 1000 miles on the tires. I originally built this truck for my son who just turned 16 a few weeks ago but he doesn't want it, (never saw that one coming) so everything I've done to it was with the belief he was going to be driving it so it is DONE RIGHT!!! Please don't low ball me on this truck you will only be wasting your time as well as mine. These trucks are not easy to find especially in this great of condition. You can reach me at 210-445-8063. I can't always answer so be sure and leave a message. Thanks for looking.

Sorry to hijack (call it another bump :D ) - what's the rear bumper from? It looks like a late-model GM, but what year range? What mods did it take to bolt it on there?

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments! As far as the rear bumper goes it's off a (I hate to say this) a Dodge :eek1:! I couldn't find a step bumper like I wanted and this one seemed to fit the body lines really well. The axles are stock except for the gearing which is 4.56 front and rear, no lockers. Believe it or not, I have only put this thing in 4 wheel drive when I first bought it just to make sure it worked and it hasn't been back in since :doah:.....I know....that's just crazy!!!! Here's a few pics of what it looked like when I first bought it so you can kinda see where it's came from.

who painted it and is it base coat clear coat or a Maaco job?

if you get any more pics of underneath/engine etc email to [email protected] please

it has a new windshield, new door seals, new Warn Premium hubs, the paint job is base coat/clear coat, the guy that did it works for the local Cadillac body shop and he did it on the weekends, he did an awesome job, the pics just don't do it justice, I'll try and get some more pics tonight of the underneath and motor.
