1985 GMC Crew Cab 2WD *Engine trades?*

I'll get em if this wind ever dies down, its terrible right now! reminds me of laramie, WY haha

I would also consider trades for a nicely built 350, or a nice big block that will go into my off-roader

Went to take pictures, camera battery died when i turned it on... its on the charger now then ill head back over there to take pics

Alright got lots more pictures for ya. just gotta find the cord for my camera. I took pictures of all the areas that needed fixed. We had a big hailstorm and it put a crack in the windshild about last week. The rear view mirror needs put back on, the lamp on the roof needs a bulb/lens and the headliner sags. I got a picture of it. umm... got pictures of the underneath, more engine, interior. tested cruise control, it does not work. I feel the carb could use a little more work to make it perfect.

I think thats about it... oh when cold you can hear the speedo cable, and the hydroboost makes a hissing sound when cold too. Previous owner took it in and said that was normal on the hydroboost. I made a thread about it here too a while back. Thats all the bad i got.

fresh rebuild, not even off of the stand. has forged flattops, eldebrock performer intake, performer cam, heads have new guides and 3 angle valve job. everything else is standard new parts, rings, brgs., gaskets, oil pump. have an extra hei, wires, quadrajet, waterpump. built this motor for my 79 chevy truck, but I need a tow rig more than a 1/2 ton 4x4 right now.

1.94 intake? stock heads im assuming? whats the CR on the engine? Straight across trade or? Let me know, im very interested.

yes, 1.94's heads are the good castings, dont remember # off the top of my head. cr is around 9:1. would do straight across and we could meet in the middle for travel.
