Well fellas as much as I LOVE all things Squarebody, I can't bring myself to finish what I started. I've been wheeling an FJ40 for about 12 years and I thought I would really like to go full size for my mountain machine. BUT, after finishing my son's M1028 and wheeling it some (yes I realize it's longer than a K5) I just can't see myself enjoying the places I like to go in something this large. SO! My 86 Jimmy is COMPLETELY blown apart! The body is super straight and rust free. This is a Sierra Classic model so pretty much fully loaded. I had to cut a couple of small holes in floor when I took it apart to hold the caged nuts to get the bolts out. I'm sure most of you are well aware of the multiple ways to repair this. Frame is freshly sandblasted and ready for paint or whatever you want to put on it. It has been set up for 64" rear springs with the TNA forward rear spring brackets and retains tension shackles with ORD's Super Shackles at the rear. I set this up per Stephen Watson's instructions and was going to have him build me custom springs. In the front, it's set up with B52 brackets in the front and ORD's FUSH kit mounted in the stock location. I was going to have ORD build me 54" front springs, but of course there are multiple ways to set this up. I have a new Energy Suspension body mount kit that goes with. Cab is basically bare! I have steering column, interior trim (no headliner), stock front & rear axles with nice rallye wheels and decent tires, your choice of core support, inner fenders, and rear seat. There are no front seats,no engine-trans-tcase, no brake booster assembly (was going hydroboost), no grille or bezels, no springs, You get the idea. I have multiple boxes of parts I removed from it. I don't know for sure if I still have the original engine x-member or not as I was going to use ORD's, but we ended up putting the one I had in the M1028. I've got over $900 in just the parts mentioned, I want $1700 for everything. I'm sure I missed some answers to questions you might have so just ask. Clean Washington state title with collector plates.
