Not the vacation that I had planned (road trip to Moab), or even my backup plan (working on projects), but it did include a lot of resting which I haven't done since... I cannot remember.
Forced downtime is all I ever get also.
Pulling this one in the shop to track down a bad vibration. It is completely tied to engine RPM but not noticeable from the front of the engine. I'm suspecting the flexplate may have cracked at this point so I need to drop the inspection cover and disconnect the torque converter.
If it is not the flexplate, then i can start it disconnected and see if it is transmission or engine related.

Turns out the transmission cooler lines were vibrating against the oil pan. The clamp to hold them on the bottom of the inspection cover is missing. I probably caused the issue when I was replacing the starter and had to bend the lines slightly to get the inspection cover off.
Did a quick pressure wash and a little elbow grease with some wax.
The seat came back from the upholstery shop today. This is a new cover made by the shop and a new lower seat cushion.
A quick vacuum of the carpet (although it should probably get replaced) and the seat was installed. Then, I moved on to installing the missing door panel trim which quickly morphed into replacing all the seals and felts in the door since they were crumbling.

What did the seat cover cost you?
$350 for the cover materials, I traded parts for the labor. I also bought the lower seat foam separately.
This one still going on BaT?
Depends... if the machine shop stays on its current strong path, we likely will be keeping it.
Picked up new wing windows to save time and got the drivers door wrapped up with new seals, felts, trim and pull handles.
Cleaning up the passenger door tonight.
I was able to finish up the passenger side last night. New wing window, door lock switch, trim, seals and felts.

Gang green gall bladder tried to kill me a while back.
This is an AC truck it is missing all the parts under the hood at the moment so I've been collecting what is missing.
