I'm an automatic person, I can drive shift however I rather just put in drive and go

Just tell your buddies, not only do you not need a diesel to tow...don't even need a trailer.
There's no room for back seat drivers in this rig & you got your 6 banger now.
Keep at 20 and your set.
Being safety conscience, a second strap might be a good idea though.
