1986 K30 6.2 Diesel Truggy Build - "The Mule"

I hate you. :)

Man that is one awesome garage and office. Beautiful.

Wow that place is awesome!!!

Any pics of the house itself? Id just live in the bitchin office thing :haha:

I will put some pics up tonight when I get home. Thought about renting the office out. Plenty of shop space for that plasma table you want too :D

I think we are going to use that office as our pool house. The pool is a little ways away from the house but close to the garage and office. Since the office has a full bathroom in it soaking wet people will not have to go all the way up to the house to use the bathroom. Maybe put a pool table and move my Big Buck Hunter and other arcade games out there. Then you could still use the upstairs loft as a guest bedroom if you wanted to.

That is awesome. Going to insulate the building?

Martin

I am still debating about the insulation. I think that the entire 50x80 is too much to really heat or cool so I may put a divider up and insulate only part of it and make that my workshop and use the rest of it for storage. Still thinking about that one.

Thanks man!!

I agree with you on slider doors. They are pain and never completely seal.

Yeah I am already waiting on a quote to see how much to change to overhead doors, at least the main front door. It was snowy when we were there yesterday and there was snow blown in all around the doors.

That would be sweet lol. My bedroom literally is the upstairs of the house, the walls are all slanted in just like that. Id be all at home in there :D

Insulate the whole thing if you can do it. Even without heat the temp difference is worth it.

That's awesome man, congrats.

What are the plans for your old lift

The plan is to let the old lift go with that house unless the buyers do not want it.

I agree I would love to insulate the entire thing especially the ceiling. Gonna be a little while before I can make any garage improvements with the first being replacing the sliding doors with overhead doors.

Any pics of the house itself?

Ok so here are a few pics of the house. It is split level and is a little over 3,000 square feet. 4 bedroom 3.5 bath. 2 car attached garage. It also cuts my daily commute in half.

If you look close there seems to be a good flexing rock in the bottom corner of the picture.

Screened in porch on the back. Hot tub is included but not working right now. It also has a whole home generator.

Living room and dining room

Kitchen and "Morning Room" with wood stove insert.

Master. The other bedrooms are decent size. The master bath and kids bathroom could use a refresh but other wise it is pretty nice.

Basement den/theater room.

This Teal room is actually the attic that was finished into a kids play room which is pretty awesome and has chalk board paint on the walls not shown in the pic and even a built in puppet theater.

Working on getting all of the inspections and paper work straightened out. Closing date is hopefully March 27.

Congrats on the house. It sure is perdy. That's about $800k minimum in my neck of the woods depending on acreage. BTW how much land are you graced with now?

Thanks guys. We paid way less than 800 but I think we got a deal because the owner's business went under and he had to move to Georgia to find work. Also for some reason not everyone wants a 50'x80' garage.

The house and garage sit on 5.4 acres that is mostly cleared. He was cutting all of it hence the large zero turn. I plan to use some land for a motocross track :thumb:

Thats funny, I also plan on using some of this land as a mx track!

This is pretty awesome!

Congrats on the pimp new digs Dan :waytogo:

I saw you said its closer to work, so what area is it? I ask as I know your work is pretty close to my brothers neck of the woods.

Oh....also...I know this guy ..you could just drop the rig off with a punch sheet and a check or stack of cash and it could be ready to go for the spring trip :D

Thanks Josh. The new place is in Hampstead, MD just into Baltimore County.

You see you had me with dropping the truck off to finish it but it is that second part with the money that gets me. Things are going to be a bit tight $$ until we get our current house sold and I am not going to have any time to work on it with all this going on.
