What did you use to get the cab off the frame? How heavy is the cab?

I used pipe stands and jacks. I jacked the front up and ran a 2" gas pipe across the inner frame rails on the pipe stands. I then repeated the process for the rear.

As far as weight I'm not sure on a definite weight. It was decently heavy but I could wiggle it fairly on my own. Enough for 5-6 strong guys to handle carefully.0681BAE4-5A52-4636-BEF6-FCE5EF4A8E67.jpeg

How are things progressing?
Things are going well. I'm getting closer.

I brushed and coated the frame with POR-15. Then installed new gas tank, sending unit, and brake/fuel lines.8B43101E-F18B-4609-A031-ED8D19908233.jpeg1BD12EA4-0A0A-47C4-A4EC-D4B5973310A6.jpegD5A86608-48DE-4B9B-8D68-4729ED8D9A13.jpeg

I then pulled my drive train for the 6.0 4L80e to set in the frame. I went with LCT Billet motor mount adapters and added a Hunter Orange paint job to give it the old Sbc look.

Added a set of Speed Engineering headers for a A-Body/X-Body Camaro. They fit perfect expect for trimming the ear off the bell housing in the transmission, which was expected. They were right but I didn't have to cut any of the frame or add any additional bends. Which was my goal.014B4B99-C37C-44AA-8B1D-D9930D94EA6E.jpeg890E6E2F-9E76-4887-BDA3-18AD6BB41410.jpeg2BF8293D-364F-4151-BEDA-AF229BEFEEF8.jpeg374F191C-6DF5-4CB6-9533-D5013BEA27A1.jpeg

Currently, I am working out all the kinks to get it running. I believe that will be this evening if not some time this week. I will post an update when that time comes!

Long awaited update!

Finally got it running this evening. Found some gremlins in the wiring harness I ordered as well as a brand new MAP sensor being bad. Once I got those things ironed out it picked up and ran just fine!

Was the long awaited missing piece. My goal was to have this thing road worthy and drive it to Thanksgiving dinner. That only leaves me 1 month lol.
