I measured mine and they seem even bigger than what the xl says unless i’m measuring wrong. Overall, from long point to long point it is almost 32” and across the width, it’s 17”.
The actual louver area is about 14”x 24”

Lots of progress the last 2 weekends which i will share when I get more pictures. But here is the video that actually matters. Just crammed some pipes on the manifolds to start it before I quit for the day. This is right after the first start. On the first crank it lit up on 4th or 5th rollover.

Two guys, no spare, less than 1/4 tank of gas, no hood, not all my tools... Oof, shes heavier than I thought.
Slightly better video before hood install and more wiring clean up. Crazy to think this thing weighs about 7000 lbs with no one in it ready to go.
Makes me very happy with the acceleration even compared to my old stock 1991 V2500 Burb with the same engine setup. Holley learning is getting better every day but I still wonder if i should have a custom tune done later on.

I say tune it yourself, pull the plugs get the timing right then let the Holley closed loop learn until it’s about 2% learn then shut it off.
That being said if your in a hurry get help tuning it.

Sounds easy enough. I have the software downloaded and have to mess with some I/Os anyway. Should poke around a bit. It shifts too quickly into 4th for my liking as well.
What trans do you have? I have found out the Holley stock tune isn’t the greatest.

Got the groceries. Ambient outside temp is about 98° with way too much humidity... Windows up because the A/C got charged today!
Unloaded the goods and took the GF for a cruise. Filled up for thr first time since the swap. 8.75 mpg... With all the idling for A/C charging, checking fluids, looking for leaks, etc. That doesn't seem too bad. Hoping for double digits in normal conditions!

Posting this here for others but we were just discussing in Baba's thread. I used a current performance AC add on module to connect my terminator with vehicle. It just simplifies everything and uses a solid state driver for AC compressor clutch control.
Even uses the same color wires in it as the factory programmed I/O wires on the terminator. All wires labeled and loomed with powerbraid.

BB2026 claimed 2 trailer tires on the way... (Less than 1 hour from home) Had 4 new 12 plys installed and we went the rest of the way without issue.

Tow rig and setup worked well besides that. No idea what happened with the tires. 1 was brand new and the others were 3 years old/brand new with trailer. No weather checking, etc.
9.4 mpg average for the 2400 miles. Slightly off since I have 35s instead of the factory 275/70r18.

9/7 Canyonlands - Potash Road/Shafer Switchbacks
Ran it from Moab into the park. Not hard-core at all, very scenic, but those switchbacks are no joke. Aired down shortly after we hit the dirt since the washboard was rattling our teeth out.
Amazed at how many BMWs, Nissan, etc with very low clearance were on this road. Feel like air dams, rocker cladding, would all get ripped off in several spots.
Did most of the end before the switchbacks in Np205 low/4wd/4l80e 2nd gear due to all the climbing/descents. Started the switchbacks and engine started climbing to 215+ so I shifted back to high and ran the Magnum in low with 4l80e in 2nd. That did the trick. A/C was on the whole way of course.

Ran this back in 2019 with my dad during fullsize invasion. Decided to do it again with my GF and also do the hikes on it as well.
Not a tough trail but not something a Subaru outback could do either. Only people we saw was a hiker and a rig from the Navtec Expeditions outfit.
Was pretty neat to have the arches all to ourselves when we hiked up to them. Guess I forgot to take a picture of the "Eye of the Whale" arch which i thought was more impressive.
Ran this back in 2019 with my dad during fullsize invasion. Decided to do it again with my GF and also do the hikes on it as well.

I had ran the first 1-2 miles of this before bit never the whole thing. I would say the 4/10 rating is accurate if you take all the bypasses/easier routes. Easily harder if you do all the optional stuff which Ashman brought us through of course.
Was really impressed with how everything functioned. A/C on and the Np205 in low for the whole trail i never saw above ~200° for the engine and transmission never went above ~165°
9/10 BB 2nd day - Flat Iron Mesa
Had only ran part of this in 2019 so I was excited to run this whole trail. After doing the same amount again we waited for the back half of the group which included the now broken @ashman before continuing.
It got a little late in the day and we wanted to hit some other spots in town so we headed out with him and @72gmck5. Definitely a fun trail and way more torn up since i was on it in 2019. Will hopefully run the rest some day.

My 3rd time through this and told myself to try the harder stuff. Ended up hitting everything I wanted including Hells Gate which after doing it I wish I would have done it sooner.
The drop in to Hells Gate I think was in a way sketchier than the actual obstacle. Was able to go up basically at idle in 1st gear magnum low/205 high range. Only had 1 spot where I pulled the right front tire a bit high so had to back down and adjust.
Got to wheel behind Jackson in his linked K5 so I want front links even more now. I can feel the front not keeping up with the back.
