Sold 1987 K30

You guys didn't warn me I needed to pack my bags for a guilt trip.
LOL. I know I was considering buying it for myself. And you bet your ass it would have been parted out to suit my needs. I'd keep the D60 for me and sell the rest to recoup the cost and possibly allow the D60 to be free to me after the rest went to guys that needed the other parts. The main issue for me would be the fact that I don't have an unlimited amount of space to store dead trucks. Nor do I have unlimited funds to build another truck.

Don't feel guilty...

I'd store some extra trucks for some gear setup help...

I was even thinking about buying it! Dam you Scott!! I was holding out to see if I could get a deal on it. That bed was the perfect spot for a tent!

I'd be lying if I didn't admit to thinking about what I could do with that K30 myself. That said, I can tell you that the money we made selling it is a big help for me financially and takes a weight off my mind. Especially with what fuel is costing for a trip to Blazer Bash this year.

You could easily fit 2 tent cots on that bed!

Ditto here, I was thinking same thing,

I do have my eye on a 3 + 3 4x4 that hasn't moved in over a year. I even have the phone #, I need to call and talk to the person, It is a cool rig! and that's all I have to say about that, for now...

Are you going to part it out?

If I do end up buying it I would do it for the Dana 60 and part out, or just sell it outright, unless wifey decides we need another truck in the yard in addition to the 5 vehicles, one ATV, and a trailer we already have...

These trucks left whole are worth more than the sum of their parts. Especially crew cabs.
How the tun tables.

I know, I'm going to build a short box 3+3, on a suburban frame, and I have a srw long bed 3+3 with a camper on it.

Not always true.
I bought a rusted out 1991 crew cab a few years ago for $1500.
It wasn't worth much more as is even though it was drivable.
4.56 gears 4l80E 205 single rear axle.
I parted it and made $6500

I sometimes forget these things rust away. I'll rephrase to add "still good ones" are valuable.

The guy that bought it wasn't in great physical condition. I was kinda surprised he was taking the project on.

I noticed he doesn't mention the lack of a title or that he has one either. Wonder if he got one somehow.

The price sucks but I'm glad that it's all in one piece still. Pretty sweet truck in my opinion.

If he can sell it for anywhere close to what its listed for he made out pretty well on the deal.

It is a pretty cool truck
