1987 Serpentine Swap

They are. I did have one side re made because I crushed it trying to move things around. Otherwise with a little more finesse, the factory ones will bend.

Any chance you did any vent temp testing before and after swap to show impact of new setup? What was the all in cost of the swap?

No temperature testing. When we bought the truck it had an aftermarket R4 compressor and it was cold. When it crapped out, I went through a couple of the same brand compressors that just kept failing. I think it was roughly $600 ish using new parts. The new setup is quite and ac seems to be working well.

Good deal. So probably comparably priced compared to just replacing the factory tbi stuff?

I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. I like the simplicity of the serpentine setup. If you found a donor truck that had everything it would probably cost a lot less than piecing it together.
