1987 V10 SWB "Survivor Build" Grille paint

It's always cool when it's nice enough to see Baker. It's about a 3 hour drive for me to get there.

I was going to ask how for away it was from you. I was going to say about 3 hours...looks about the same distance in your pic as the Rocky Mountains are away from our place now. About 3 hours. :thumb:

Swapped wheels with the Blazer just to see how it looked. The wider tires and Rallys really look nice on this truck, but the white wheels just don't look as good on the Blazer so they got swapped back. Otherwise just doing a little inner fender paint touch up. It's car show season!

might need some brakes on the K10 too

such a clean truck

LOL yeah last year it had a squeal so I checked the brakes. Pads were gone on the outboard of the driver side. I replaced the pads for now, but that rotor is grooved to $hit. I'll replace both at some point, but not a priority for a truck that rarely gets driven.

Man that’s a gorgeous truck. Both of em, but that shortbed especially. After you put those ‘styled’ wheels on it and painted the grille to match, I wouldn’t change a single thing.:waytogo:

Had to drive this off the island today to get welding gas. My bottle won't fit standing up under the canopy on the Sierra and I think they frown on transporting them in SUVs. It was a nice day for a drive anyway.
