No VA.
I will get more detailed information very soon. This is my roommate's 4Runner, and he doesn't use it or want it. It's a 1988, 22RE, 5spd, 2" Trailmaster lift, 3" body lift, 33" TSL's. It used to be his DD until he got his '03 4Runner, but that was a while ago. The only real rust is on the pass. side of the top, under the glass (see pics) - that's it. No rust in any of the typical places. I know it's not currently registered, and I know that it needs to be jumped to start. I know it doesn't have a back window.

I will get more information from him very soon. ***(EDIT: Posted more information.)***

He's asking $2000 for it, that's bottom dollar - motivated seller, seems like a good price for what it is, but I'm not a Toy guy. It's located here in Sterling, VA (20164). I recommend trailering it, not driving it away. MIGHT be able to assist in delivery WITHIN reason for costs.

Have more details....

Truck has 190,xxx miles, the engine is from a '93 with approx. 35,xxx miles on it, the tranny is out of a '95, it's mileage unknown.

A couple years ago, he threw on a new water pump, new heavier timing chain, steel chain guides, harmonic balancer, and a new Rock C2 TC cover. He had the head off at the same time, and re-used the original head bolts, resulting in a poor fit, and the backside of the head gasket leaked. The truck briefly spiked in temperature as a result, just that once, and was quickly caught, and not been used since. So, to explain the gaskets and bolts piled on the passenger side floorboard, that's $300 worth of parts that are there for correcting this issue. To be safe, I'd recommend planing the head for 'best fit', but that's just me, and I'm overkill.... New owners choice. Just to be clear, this does run and drive, we move it around the house whenever we need.

The tranny is sound, feels good and tight (clutch-wise), however the shifter handle is a bit wabbily, but a new spacer bushing for it would tighten that up. Installed a brand new clutch master cylinder a couple months ago.

T-case is great no issues.

Has Pioneer 6.5's and 6x9's, Pioneer 400w amp, and head unit. It's been undercoated twice since he's had it (he used it at the beach mostly). The interior has been spray-lined, and the back half has a rubber mat covering that up. The plastic molding in the back and lower portion of the doors has been replaced with plexiglass for easy cleaning, nicer look, and to ditch the aged plastic.

It has a clean and clear NC title, in hand.

Again, he's looking for $2000, bottom dollar, motivated seller. MIGHT be able to assist in delivery within reason for costs. Contact me, we'll see what we can work out.

TTT. Someone interested in a Toy project? Get this outta my driveway!:D

If only it had a recent VA inspection :(

Awesome deal from the prices I've seen lesser toyoders go for!

Why would that matter, Mitch?

If someone local were to want to drive this on the road (in VA), it would make the process a bit easier. Nonetheless, its an awesome deal. I gave it some thought, but don't have the time to devote to something like this.
