Hello I have the above mentioned vehicle, was told the truck ran when I paid for it just needed a battery and anyway it hasn’t ran sense then. Did a basic tune up, fuel pump replacement, vacuum lines and still nothing.

Come to find out I have a short somewhere in the ECMB circuit, every time I put a new fuse in it pops before I let go of the fuse.

Traced the wires as best as I could down the body to the fuel pump and it all looked good, checked the wires down to the Oil Pressure Sensor(there were 3 different plugs in the vicinity). I’m not sure what the other two were for but anyway they were all good besides the one single wire plug that wasn’t plugged in…I think I found the female part to it but not sure.

Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you in advance!

Welcome to CK5. S10's aren't really our forte but we'll try to help out. The ecmb fuse provides power to most of the sensors and actuator. Now is the key on when you are putting a new fuse in ? Or is the fuse popping with the key off. Should be unpowered key off?
